Bad road, very bad road

Bad road, very bad road, damn this road is bad. Scared our bikes won't hold up. More pushing than riding, 70 km long. Apparently a part of the deal. As are the numerous photoshoots with the people that are cheering us on. Occasionally including a lama or a donkey.

We made it! Next pass ahead. Amazing scenery. We live on candy, cookies, and gatorade. We camp near a lake where our tent soon becomes an ice sheet. The sun in the morning has never been more welcome. Dry the tent, coffee, a mountain of oatmeal, and off we go. Eat, sleep, move... the cycle continues. But, not without a rest day.
